Play

It may seem odd that Play is the first and most important focus area, but it is important to remember that children learn best through play. Play is a part of everything we teach at Little Heroes Preschool.

Child Psychologist Jean Piaget said, “Play is the work of Childhood**.” Children deserve the chance to learn through close interaction with their world. If you take the time to observe children deeply engaged in play, you will see all of the skills and concepts they learn on their own. They learn through role playing and hands-on experiences. They need a chance to use their senses and dive into the activities that we are doing. Play also makes the activities more engaging for the children. The academic activities in our class will be integrated with play to make them more meaningful and developmentally rich for the children. It will help them to develop a deeper love of learning.
